Yet, in today's landscape, many church buildings sit idle for much of the week, waiting for the bustle of weekend services. What if we could reimagine this unused time and space to better serve both the physical and spiritual needs of our communities?

Meet the Director
Bobby (James) Hughes, native to the Pacific Northwest lives in Tacoma, WA with his wife Jenell, son, and daughter. Ordained in 2006, since 2021 he has been serving as Pastor of Harvest Church located on the Eastside of Tacoma. He has been working in human services and Workforce Development for the last 18 years and currently serves as a Community Engagement Leader with Thrivent Financial. Bobby is passionate about impacting communities of need with opportunity and ensuring everyone is invited to the table. When not working or serving in ministry, you can find Bobby building amazing hot wheel tracks with his son, having a dance party with his daughter, or traveling with his wife.
